Hey guys! So today's theme is Your Cheer Yourself Up Mani. I was really stumped on this one, all I knew is that I wanted to use neons, since they are so happy and bright. Mr. Sparkles suggested this sunset design to me after he saw one of the colors I was going to use, and heard the name. Gotta love when your hubby makes awesome suggestions for designs for you!
So, for these I used one coat of China Glaze Sun-kissed, and then sponged on China Glaze Love's A Beach for my gradient. Sun-kissed is impossible to photograph, it is really the most perfect shimmering highlighter yellow. The two colors blended into this awesome orange, too. It was really genius to use these for a sunset gradient.
The palm tree is hand painted with a small detailing brush and MASH Nail Art Polish in Black. I was so pleased with how the tree turned out!
These are so summer-y and make me long for the month we spent in Key Largo for our wedding and visiting with family before moving to Sweden. I needed a bit of cheering up last night, and these sure did do the trick!
Let's see what cheers everyone else up!!
