Bubble Nails, featuring Sonoma Nail Art 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, MASH Stamping Plates and MASH Nail Art Polish

China Glaze Sea Spray, Sonoma Nail Art 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, MASH Nail Art Polish in White
MASH-43 Plate

Hey guys!!  I had a few minutes to do my nails today, and this is what I came up with.  I am loving the MASH 26-50 stamping plates that I got not too long ago, and I really wish I had more time to play with them!

I used this adorable bubble pattern on the MASH-43 plate.  (You can purchase the MASH plates here for only $12.99!)  These plates are fabulous, I have no problems with the full nail designs being too small for my nails at all.  On this mani there are a few that I placed kind of wonky, but that was definitely my own fault.  I also used MASH Nail Art Polish in White for my stamping. (You can find their nail art polishes here for $5.99.)  This polish was so easy to stamp with, and I am glad I finally have a good white stamping polish.  The image stamped nice and crisp, no missing bits.  In my macro you can see that I did get a bit of drag from my top coat (I think that was likely my fault since I was in a hurry.) but it is really not noticeable other than in the macro shot.

My base polish is one coat of China Glaze Sea Spray, and 2 coats of Sonoma Nail Art 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Do you guys already have these plates?  Or are you planning on getting them?  Which are your favorite designs?

MASH Nails Matte Polish Review

Lynderella The Glittering Crowd, Cult Nails Nevermore, MASH Matte Polish

Hello everyone!  I have finally gotten around to making a post, woohoo!  I am now officially unemployed until whenever I find a job in Sweden.  I will be kept very busy though, planning our wedding and packing, so still probably not too much time to update here.  I will have a few more reviews up soon though.

 Regular Top Coat

This is a new Matte Top Coat from MASH Nails.  It retails on their website for $7.99.  I tested it over this glitter gradient of Lynnderella The Glittering Crowd over Cult Nails Nevermore.  I really quite like this top coat.  It is not quite as matte of a finish as the other top coat I own (Essie Matte About You, keep reading for a comparison!).  I would say it has more of a satin finish or a vinyl finish.  I think this is a good thing though!  It is a reason to own it even if you already have another matte top coat.  It doesn't make the polish look cloudy at all, like some matte top coats can.  I actually think that on this manicure, I preferred the MASH top coat over the Essie one.

MASH Matte TC - index, ring

The other matte top coat I own is Essie Matte About You, which I also like, but it is different than the MASH.  In the next photo you can see my comparison of the two.  As I stated, you can see that the Essie looks more matte, versus the MASH still having a slight sheen to it.

MASH Matte TC - index, ring; Essie Matte About You - middle, pinky

If you would like to purchase this top coat you can do so HERE on the MASH website.

Quick Update... Moving to Sweden!

Hello everyone!

I don't have any nail stuff to share with you at the moment, and I am sorry about that.  I will likely be slowing down here quite a bit, as Mr. Sparkles and I just found out that we will be moving to Stockholm, Sweden at the end of the summer.

We have a lot to do before we leave and I will be very busy.  I'll do my best to continue to have some posts for you, but I hope you all understand and want to stick around until I can get settled in our new home.  As soon as we are settled, I plan to get back to blogging, so don't give up on me! :)
