The Lacquer Legion: Weird Science, Glucose Nails

Hey there! So today I'm participating in this month's Lacquer Legion challenge. The theme for this go-round is Weird Science... how could I resist that? Of course Mr. Sparkles got in on the fun and helped me come up with the inspiration for this mani.

These are my glucose nails! The diagram on the middle two fingers is the glucose molecule. Its color coded; the purple dots (Color Club Disco Dress) represent carbon, the pink dots (KBShimmer Beach Please) represent oxygen, and the turquoise dots (KBShimmer Shore Thing) represent hydrogen.

Since glucose is sugar, I "sugared" my other nails with some loose iridescent white glitter over two coats of Beach Please. The base for my molecule diagram is two coats of Ciaté Cookies and Cream.

I hope you guys like this, and don't forget to check out all the other Weird Science manis by searching for #LLWeirdScience on your preferred source of social media!

Stamping Sunday: Textured Ocean Stamping

Hi guys! Here is a quickie post for you... this is actually some nail art I did for a previous Digit-al Dozen challenge which I never posted.

The base for this mani is Kiko Sugar Mat 457 Royal Blue. I stamped over it using my MoYou Sailor 05 and 07 plates, and Mundo de Uñas stamping polishes in #39 Avocado, and #42 Holland Blue.
