The Digit-al Dozen Does Black & White: Holo Checkers

Hello there!  Welcome back to Digit-al Dozen's Black & White week!

Today's design is a pretty simple one, but how could I not do black and white checkers.  All I've done for this mani is a base of two coats of Hits Zeus, which is a black holo.  Then I've stamped over that with MoYou Princess Collection 13 and my trust Mash Nail Art Polish in white.

Now I'm not the best at getting linear patterns like this lined up properly on my nails... I hope to remedy that problem soon by investing in a new rectangular squishy stamper.  But for now I just did my best with what I had.  I will say it was much easier now that my buddy Jacki from Adventures in Acetone told me that she presses her designs straight down when she uses her big squishy stamper.  I had been rolling them as I was used to with the Konad stamper, and the images kept getting distorted.  Pressing down instead fixed that problem, and its also easier to line stuff up!  So thanks Jacki for making this mani possible!

As always, be sure to check out all the other amazing manis the DD gals have churned out for today!

You did a great job lining up the image...for sure, it is way easier to press your nail into the squishy stamper.

Such a good idea to it on a holo base! And something about a checkered design like this is always, always classy.
