Hello!! So here we are on the last day of Floral Week, and I've got another design that was inspired by Robin Moses. You an find the video that I watched . She has so many great floral videos that I just had to try another. I'm doing my best to improve my acrylic paint skills, but with this one I had trouble getting even coverage. I'm not sure if this is my skills or the quality of the paint that I have... I just bought the cheapest set of paints I could find at the craft store to start with, so maybe they are the trouble makers.
The base for these is two coats of Cult Nails Living Water, which is a really beautiful blackened blue base with fine blue-green glitter in it. The flowers are all done with acrylic paint and a small nail art brush.
The other lovely ladies participating in this week of florals are Debbie of The Crumpet, Missy of Gnarly Gnails, Emma of Manicurity, and Kerrie of PishPosh and Polish. Be sure to hop over to their blogs for more fun florals to kick off spring!
I like the transparency - I think it makes the flowers look like watercolours :)
