Floral Week: Roses

Hey there!  So today I am kicking off a week of floral nails with a few of my fellow blogger pals, who I will link at the bottom of this post.  Florals seem so appropriate for the first week of April... I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of spring here in Stockholm.  I hope it shows up soon!

The base for this mani is two coats of Gina Tricot Alexis.  This color is a really gorgeous glass fleck, somewhere between red and plum.  The color inspired me to do some roses.  I was originally going to stamp them, but couldn't find any stamps that I liked.  So freehanding it was.  I just added the detail on with a small nail art brush and China Glaze Liquid Leather.

The other lovely ladies participating in this week of florals are Debbie of The Crumpet, Missy of Gnarly Gnails, Emma of Manicurity, and Kerrie of PishPosh and Polish.  Be sure to hop over to their blogs for more fun florals to kick off spring!

What a pretty way to do roses! They remind me a little of Beauty and the Beast and the rose in that! Lovely x
