Glittering Snow and Ice Drip Nails

China Glaze Frostbite, Orly Au Champagne, Shimmer Polish Julia

Hey guys!  Today I've got some fun winter-y nail art for you.  If you haven't heard, Nail Polish Canada is hosting a Holiday Nail Art Challenge.  (I actually just heard about this today on Neverland Nail Blog!)  There will be 3 weeks of challenges with one theme/post per week.  The first week's theme is Snow.

I actually already did this mani last Friday, and it happened to fit the first week's theme, so woohoo for that!

As soon as I saw Shimmer Polish Julia I knew it would be great for some winter nail art.  Since it is an icy blue I was inspired to use my base color of China Glaze Frostbite, a GORGEOUS glowing blue shimmer. (I really need to use this color more because it is so lovely.)  I used a dotting tool to make my snow drips with Orly Au Champagne, the perfect shimmery winter white.  Then I used the dotting tool again to place Julia over the white bits.

I am super happy with how this turned out... Drip nails are easy but I love the look of them!

If you like these winter-y nails, please take a minute to vote for my entry HERE, I would really appreciate it!  There is just a short form to fill out, and since I have only registered today you will not see my blog on the drop down menu, but you can enter it into the "Other" field at the bottom of the form. Thanks, everyone!
