Guest Post from Michaela of The Mani Café

Hi guys!  Today's guest post is from my lovely friend Michaela.  She has a new-ish blog called The Mani Café, where she posts some awesome nail art and swatches.  We have a few things in common, such as our love for purple, MAC Cosmetics and Lynnderella, so we've bonded over that.  Big thanks to her for being here today.  Let's keep reading to see what she has for you guys to read about!

Hi Smashley Sparkles readers! I'm Michaela from so happy to be guest posting for Ashley over here today. I love her blog and nail art in particular!

I have quite a simple but pretty manicure for you today in my favourite colour from one of my favourite brands, Elevation Polish. All of Lulu's polishes are spectacular but these two really blew me away, especially worn together!

Elevation Polish Pata Puffer II and Mount Cangyan

Mount Cangyan is a gorgeous purple shimmer from the 'View From The Top' collection which really glows!
Here is the description from Elevation Polish:
Royal Purple shimmer polish that is highly complex in the light. Red shimmer in high concentration as well as copper & gold shimmer
Finish: shimmer almost a duochrome

I used two coats of Mount Cangyan for perfect opacity. The formula was perfect and application was easy.

As an accent nail I added a coat of Pata Puffer II from the Tools Of the Trade collection to my ring finger.
Pata Puffer II is a gorgeous glitter topcoat which I can't wait to layer over loads of different colours!
Here is the description from Elevation Polish:
Clear base, Blend of Wine, Fuchsia, Purple and sparse pink glitters including circle glitters.
Finish: Heavy glitter
