Guest Post from Heather of Peace, Love, and Polish

Hello darlings!  So I am super lucky to be friends with many talented nail art bloggers, and Heather is one of them.  She has created some gorgeous galaxy nails for your viewing pleasure.  Big thanks to Heather for posting for me, and keep reading to see what she used!

Hey guys! It's Heather from Peace, Love and Polish guest posting here on the amazing Smashley Sparkles blog. I am fortunate enough to know Ashley through the Digit-al Dozen Group and she does some AMAZING work. She sure has an eye for color combos and nail art. So anyway, when she was calling for guest posts - I jumped right on the opportunity :)

For this guest post, I wanted to create something fun, and new for me. I decided on some galaxy nails. I can't believe that in my two years of blogging I've never done galaxy nails. I've always admired them from afar - but they looked too complicated and time consuming for me to accomplish. Boy, was I wrong! They're super easy and super cute - and you can change up the colors and make each your own.

I started with a base of Pomegranate Nail Lacquer Cyberspace. For the remaining colors, I used a makeup sponge to dab on the colors in random spaces. I used OPI Alpine Snow (white), Fresh Paint Dragon Lady (green), Fresh Paint Passionfruit (purple) and Essie Tour De Finance (pink). I added the white stars and dots using my small dotting tool, then topped it off with a coat of Northern Lights.

I love how the green shimmer gives it a fun sparkly effect (aside from the Northern Lights). I loved doing these galaxy nails, and I can assure you they won't be the last ones I do, I have big ideas in my mind for more - especially with different colors :)
Thanks Ashley for having me! I hope you all enjoyed this galaxy nail art :)
