Hi loves!!!  Its time for another edition of Digit-al Dozen nail art... this month our theme is Geek Week!  I cannot tell you how excited I was for this.  I am a bit of a nerd, and Mr. Sparkles is more than a bit of a nerd.  (Nerd is not to be confused with geek, because, as he has informed me, geek is a much more negative term than nerd.)  Either way, I just had to do this mani.


As a bit of background, Mr. Sparkles is a rocket scientist who is currently working on his PhD in particle physics.  Hence the atomic heart nail.  He is also super sexy in his black framed glasses, so I had to include those in there.  Mr. S has inspired a few of the other manis I've got for you this week... Dungeons and Dragon nails, anyone?


The technical bits behind this mani... I painted all my nails with two coats of MASH Nail Art Polish in White.  I cheated a smidge and used a black Sharpie marker for the lettering on my index, ring, and pinkie nails.  It was WORLDS easier than trying to do the lettering with a paint brush.

On my thumb and middle finger everything was freehanded with a small nail art brush and MASH Nail Art Polish in Black. For the heart and electrons orbiting the heart I used OPI You're A Pisa Work.


I hope you guys are excited as I am for the rest of this week... I can't wait to see what my other lady friends have come up with!
