Nubar Pink Flame

Hey there!  This is another polish I got from Norway Nails... This time its a duochrome!  Get ready for a pic heavy post, because I had to show you all the different colors in different lighting.

So, this beauty is Nubar Pink Flame.  I layered one coat over black on all my nails, except my pinkie which has two coats over black.  Pink Flame is a lovely raspberry pink, which has a gold/orange duochrome.  I didn't try this alone, but I imagine you would need 3 coats for opacity, since it is a bit sheer.  Over black the base became deeper, more like a wine color.

Now let's see that duochrome start to come out... here you can see the color shifting to a bronzey red.

And now for the main event!  The golden shift!

So pretty, right?!

You can get this polish from Norway Nails, where Nubars retail for 139 NOK.  As a sweet thank you to my readers, Wenche has offered me a 10% off code to share with you!  At checkout you can enter SMASHLEY10 to receive 10% off your entire order.

  2. I am usually not a huge fan of duochrome-y polishes - but the first picture just drew me in!

  3. That is really very pretty. I suprisingly don't have many duochromes which is crazy.
