Crumpet's Tri-Polish Challenge: Day 1, Water Marble

Hey guys!  Today is the first day of a new challenge that I helped to conceptualize with my pal Debbie from The Crumpet.  The challenge is called the Tri-Polish Challenge, and the basic idea is to choose three polishes and make 4 manis using the same three polishes.  I think this will be a great way to see different ways to use the polishes.  You can see the full post about the rules and how to join here.  The first 3 colors that I chose for everyone to use are coral, purple, and green.

The actual polishes that I picked to use are China Glaze Surreal Appeal, Def Defying, and Gothic Lolita.  I think they work well together because they are all in the same range of tone... bright but not neon.  I decided to do a water marble as my first mani because I haven't done one in ages!

So, let's go see what the other participants came up with, and what polishes they chose!

  10. Love it! I actually chose Gothic Lolita and Def Defying as two of my three colors. I also tried doing a water marble for the first day, but it failed miserably because my coral was too shimmery and making the other colors muddy, therefore I didn't finish one for the first day :(

  14. OOOOooooOOOOOh I chose nigh on the same colours. I used OPI and Barry M as well as a China Glaze but the colours are the same. Seeing this I wish I had watermarbled but instead I did a dry drag which turned out horribly for Thursday...
