The Digit-al Dozen Does Love & Heartbreak - He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not...

Hey there!  Happy Valentine's Day to all my lovely readers!  Today's mani for Digit-al Dozen week was an idea that Mr. Sparkles suggested to me.  He loves me, he loves me not nails.  I'm sure most of us ladies have played this game as children, pulling the petals off a flower to find out if he loves us.

When I envisioned this I thought of a background that looked like a chalkboard, maybe because this is a game most people probably play when they are school age.  I used a base of two coats of Zoya Dovima to get that look.

I added the centers of the flowers using a dotting tool and Orly Lemonade, then painted the petals on with my MASH Nail Art Polish in White and a small nail art brush.  I freehanded the words on to my thumb nail with the nail art brush as well.  This is the first time I've attempted cursive lettering (or letters/words of any kind, I believe) on my nails.  It was easier than I expected but they are by no means perfect.  I'll keep practicing!

What are you wearing on your nails for Valentine's Day today?

Don't forget to look at everyone else's amazing work!
