Picture Polish Dorothy with Skittle Nail Art

Hey there!  Today I am going to share one of my first Picture Polishes with you!  I was lucky enough to win 4 PP's from Norway Nails in a contest last month.  I received Dorothy, Pshiit, Ariel's Tale, and Ruby Blou (which was featured in this post).  I decided to try out Picture Polish Dorothy because with Valentine's Day just around the corner I'm ready to wear all my red and pink polishes!

(flash)

Dorothy is a red jelly polish with silver glitter.  It is a very pink toned red.  The formula was good, maybe a tad thick but can easily be thinned if needed.  I probably could have gotten away with one coat of this if I was careful, but I did two for more depth.  Sorry for all these photos but I wanted you to see them with flash and without!  I marked the ones that have flash and the others are all without.  On to the pic spam:

Then I had to do some nail art!  Initially I was going to make some Valentine's stamped nails with this base, but my stamping was not cooperating last night.  Instead I did some skittled patterns with MASH Nail Art Polish in Black, and OPI Number One Nemesis.  On my index finger I have a gradient with OPI Metallic 4 Life.

Do you have any Picture Polishes?  What color is your favorite?

  2. Cute mani. I love that all the nails are different. I can't decide whether I like the stripes or the zigzags best.
