The Lacquer Cabinet by Nailtini: February

Hello there and Happy Valentine's Day, my loves! Today I want to tell you about something really exciting!

I'm sure some of you have heard of a company called Nailtini. They make cocktail themed polishes and nail care items, along with other beauty products. They've just launched a monthly subscription polish box called The Lacquer Cabinet. There are several other monthly subscription boxes for polish these days, so what makes this one unique? Well, they are collaborating with some of your favorite beauty bloggers each month (including me, SQUEE!!!). As "guest mixologists" we get to dream up three limited edition polishes for the month we are featured. Each monthly box costs $25, and includes our three custom shades, as well as two empty mini bottles so you can cocktail your own franken polishes. If you choose to purchase a 6 month subscription your boxes will cost $23/month, and if you purchase a 1 year subscription your boxes are $20/month. Shipping is free.

You'll get to see swatches of all the monthly boxes here on the blog. The first month features beauty blogger Faith Roxas of Love, Roxie.

Unfortunately one of the polishes from her collection (Pink Clover Club, a medium pink creme) broke in transit, so you won't see that one here.

This is two coats (no top coat) of the gorgeous Valentini, which is a slightly deeper version of the Pantone Color Of The Year, vibrant orchid. It falls somewhere between pink and purple. Application was perfect, and I think on short nails this could be a one-coater if you're careful! I loved this color a whole lot, I'm sure I'll be reaching for it again soon.

Next we have two coats (with top coat) of Head Over Heels, a bright pink, jelly sandwich in a bottle. It has a good variation of sizes of hex glitters in multiple colors. Application on this one was also easy, the glitters spread out easily for even coverage.

I did some stamping over the two polishes with my Mundo De Uñas stamping polishes in Mexican Pink and Reddish. I used two designs from my MoYou Princess 11 plate.

So what do you think of this new subscription box? Will you try it out? What colors or finishes would you like to see in my collection?

Don't forget to go to the 'Tini Beauty website to see more info about The Lacquer Cabinet, including the upcoming guest mixologists!
