Guest Post from Ashley of Ashley Is PolishAddicted

Hey guys!  Today's guest post is from a lady who was one of my very first blogger friends.  I helped her get a lemming of hers not long after I entered this wonderful world of nail polish obsession, and she welcomed me into some nail groups where I have made friends with so many amazing women.  I'm very grateful that we made friends.  She is Ashley from .  Thanks so much for being here today, Ashley!  Keep reading to see the nail art she's done for you guys today!

Hello lovely Smashley Sparkles readers! I was so happy to do a guest post for Ashley to help her out while she's traveling! My name is also Ashley and I also happen to have the same favorite color combo as Ashley - purple and green! I thought it only fitting that I do some purple and green nail art for my guest post!

For this mani I started off with what is probably the best purple polish ever - AquaDaisy Shazaam. Shazaam is a one-coat purple holo that dries almost instantly. After it dried I used some striping tape to make random lines towards the tip of my nail. (Please excuse my extreme nubbiness, I recently suffered a couple of breaks.) I then sponged Kiko Sugar Mat 643 over the tape to create a "laser" look.  I love doing nail art with textured polishes - they are easy to work with and the make blending gradients much easier.

The color in my photos is a bit washed out. Shazaam is a bit more red toned and the Kiko is but more intense. The last photo is truest to color.

I hope you enjoyed this mani! I really loved it and enjoyed wearing it! This look is so easy to create and didn't take very long at all!

Thanks for reading and happy polishing! ♥
