Hi everyone!! Today is day 6 of the Girly-Girl Challenge, and our assignment is to do some nails in honor of a woman who inspires us. I knew who I would choose right away... my Mom!!
My mom is such an amazing role model for me. She is a strong woman and is always there for me when I need her. She is also a great artist and I am inspired by her creativity. She is good at so many things, for example, gardening, painting, and decorating. I am so lucky to be able to go to her for advice when I need it. Love you, Mom!
(light box)
I did today's nails in her favorite color, purple, and her favorite pattern, paisley.
(light box)
I used 2 coats of OPI Planks A Lot, then one coat of OPI Care to Danse to lighten up Planks A Lot a little bit. Care to Danse is a light lavender jelly, so it is sheer enough to allow Planks A Lot to add more color to it. I stamped with the paisley pattern from Konad plate M60. I used Illamasqua Baptiste as my stamping polish.

omg ashley! you and your mom are so cute.
ReplyThanks Danielle! :)
This is so pretty! Love the colours :-)
ReplyThis looks great! And I love that you chose your mom! =)
Replyvery cute!! you 2 look alike!!!
ReplyI don't think I have ever seen a prettier paisley. I wish I had nails worthy of such beautiful adornment. Well done sweetheart. Love you, Mom XO
ReplyThanks Mommy! Love you too!
Love those purples together! And I think I need to take the plunge and buy some real Konad plates. A lot of the faux-nad plates just don't have the same pretty patterns. I think I need some paisley in my life!
ReplyHonestly I only own this plate and one other actual Konad... they do stamp very easily though and I would definitely get more.
aww that's so sweet of you! :) very pretty stamping too! :D
