Anyone knows why this album is so expensive? Can't find a reason.

Number of pressing versus demand. All Omar's music with Ximena singing seems to be in high demand.
Well, here we have it, ANOTHER release from Omar Rodriguez Lopez. Omar's prolific output is dizzying, and it is obvious that he is finally tapping into his wellspring of musical creativity. He has been featuring the vocalist Ximena Sariñana Rivera on a few albums lately, (noteably, his recently released "Solar Gambling" and "Ciencia De Los Inutiles"). She has a very smooth, calming voice that juxtaposes with some of Omar's pointillist and rock themes. She is singing Spanish, but it almost sounds like she has a Portuguese accent. Also featured is vocalist Lis Papineau (on tracks 1 & 8); Juan Alderete De La Peña on Bass; Marcel Rodriguez Lopez on Drums, Organ, Piano & Synths; and of course, Omar on Guitar, Piano, and Synths. It was recorded at Cloud Hill Studios in Germany by Lars Stalfors (has recorded much of Omar's solo work) and Omar Rodriguez Lopez. All of the songs and music were written by Omar as well.I am personally enjoying the forays that he is making into this realm of music. Featuring a beautiful vocalist on top of Omar's already brilliant composing creates something that might appeal to those who do not like the Mars Volta, but appreciate the music and guitar playing. All of the usual winding, labyrinthine guitar work is present, but seems toned down, and melds superbly with the vocalists and other musicians. The second track, "No Hay Más Respuestas" is one of my favorites, because it features an awesome groove by Omar and the band.Get ready for another Spacey (yet, somehow down-to-earth) voyage with Omar Rodriguez Lopez and his ever-evolving sound!
