Sesame Street: Old School is the title of a series of DVD releases produced by Sesame Workshop, featuring episodes from the early years of the PBS series, Sesame Street, plus highlights from that era. The first volume, "1969–1974", was released by Sony Wonder in Region 1 (North America) on October 24, 2006. The second volume, "1974–1979," was released by Genius Entertainment on November 6, 2007. The third volume, "1979–1984", was released by Warner Home Video on November 6, 2012
The second volume in a series of reissues including original Sesame Street LPs, Sesame Street: Old School, Vol. 2 includes cardboard facsimiles of 1974's Grover Sings the Blues, 1974's My Name Is Roosevelt Franklin (originally released in 1971), and 1975's The Count Counts. Anyone who picked up The Sesame Street Record after the single became a hit, but with no prior knowledge, would have been treated to a parade of catchy songs, nearly all of them written by Joe Raposo, the Street's who was responsible for the opening theme, "Bein' Green," "I've Got Two," "People in Your Neighborhood," and many more. although not "Rubber Duckie")
